Because we didn't expect to be in NW Washington until late afternoon we decided to spend our first night in Bellingham, WA at Hotel Bellwether - where we enjoyed a nice room with a beautiful view of Puget Sound. I grew up in Bellingham and though I was quite familiar with the environment, I saw it with new eyes as we spent the first night of our honeymoon in a romantic room with a view of the sound. |

July 2 - July 5, 2002
We spent the next three nights in the inner harbour of Victoria, B.C. on beautiful Vancouver Island. We stayed at Laurel Point Inn. The room was spacious, with a Japanese influence and a large deck overlooking the inner harbour. |

July 5 - July 7, 2002
We spent the last two nights in the higher elevations of Vancouver Island at the posh Aerie resort. The view was breath taking and the style had a heavy Mediterranean influence. |
